This self-initiated project explores the intersection of warmth, minimalism and tradition in a contemporary kitchen setting. Designed for a fictional couple, Sofia and Marcus, the concept balances contrasting tastes, soft traditionalism and photogenic warmth for her, clean lines and integrated tech for him.

The project allowed me to explore how spatial flow, subtle detailing and material palette can shape atmosphere and usability. By removing walls and embracing the split level, the space becomes more sociable and connected, with key gestures like the reoriented island and stepped shelving supporting everyday movement and shared moments. The final design offers a quietly expressive kitchen that feels tactile, calm and timeless.
